Back To School Style Vibes

Hey everyone :) I'm channeling some back to school vibes with this post. School is coming into session and I'm partnering w/ Old Navy to share some style ideas for creating a fresh first day of class look!

Idea 1: Bright and Preppy

If it were me, I would walk into that first day with with a playful preppy look. As you've seen, I've been obsessed with stripes this fall. I can't get enough of them. I especially think they look great under some light layering. Its always a bit chilly in SF, and I'm all about throwing on a light shirt to add an additional layer and warmth to your look. 

For example, here is a fun look I wore a couple weekends ago for my birthday bash at the park. Harper gathered my SF friends and threw me the cutest little picnic at the Conservatory of Flowers! Everyone brought a bottle of rosé, a blanket, and we spent the afternoon just laughing and goofing around. 

I wore a fun tee with bold stripes under a light blue chambray shirt. I had the sleeves rolled at first, but as the party went on it gradually got a little bit cooler. I thought the stripes would be a fun pop for a preppy vibe at the park.

It was such a great Birthday picnic. I'm so so grateful for all my friends and I felt incredibly loved by everyone!

Idea 2: A Happy Graphic Sweatshirt

My second thought is going with a graphic pullover sweatshirt with a positive and happy vibe. This sweatshirt was giving me a college feel with its typeface, and I loved its saying, "Weekend State of Mind". So fun! I feel like that should be my new life motto. Who wouldn't want to be friends with a weekend state of minder?? To top it off, Harper and I found this really fun wall on our recent trip to Vermont. The blues and the positive message fit in perfectly with my new favorite sweater.
