Top of the Mark

Went down to the Embarcadero recently for a fun adventure. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to be close to the water. I'm always blown away by the shear size of the bridges down by the piers. I'm in awe we were able to construct those things over water! We first got coffee at the Blue Bottle in the Ferry Building, and then we wandered through the piers and the empty streets of downtown on the weekend. We made our way up the hill to the International Mark Hopkins Hotel. They have an amazing restaurant at the top called Top of the Mark. We just grabbed a couple cocktails and watched the sunset around  the bay from our table. I think it has to be one of the most beautiful views of the city.
