The New Apartment!

The New Apartment!

I've now been in SF for a couple of months, and I'm finally starting to feel bit more settled and at home. We recently moved into the cutest apartment in the Duboce Triangle Neighborhood. It is the perfect location for us. Close to lots of cafes and public transit, but also a little sleepy and quiet. It is also right next to the most adorable dog park.  If you want to know some of my thoughts on picking a neighborhood in San Francisco, you should check out my recent interview with Trulia. It was a blast to work with them on a couple of campaigns about the city. Anyways, the apartment is starting to come together and I wanted to take you all on a little visual tour of the new place!

Our cozy little living room. We just got this new couch and I love its mid century style. We were couch-less for awhile and it was pretty rough. It also fits in perfectly with one of my favorite @tylernagayama wood installation pieces.

The bedroom is attached to the living room through a sliding door, which we keep open most of the time. It just makes the space feel bigger when it is open and connected to the living room. Also, meet Bear. Also, check out my @katyanngilmore collect…

Then you can walk down a long hallway to the kitchen. We hung up a lot of art and basically made a really long gallery wall leading into the kitchen area. We are pretty happy with it.

I love the vintage appliances. Our stove has a built in griddle!

I also love the built in bookcases throughout the house. It gives the space so much character.

Attached to the kitchen is the cutest little sunroom. This is where I can usually find Harper reading a book. It is also home to our little plant family.

The last couple of weekends we have been hosting brunch with some family and friends. Today we made Waffles and had mimosas. It is the perfect outdoor space for hosting little gatherings.
