Arts District Fun

I always love going downtown to explore the Arts District. This area is constantly changing, with new restaurants and art galleries always popping up. The Arts District has an old industrial feel, as warehouses have been transformed into hip new lofts and restaurants. This time we tried a new place called Fritzi. We shared a burger and fries and tried their homemade grapefruit soda. It was all very delicious. I loved the interior feel, especially the awesome geometric light fixtures.

Around every corner are these crazy bougainvilleas!

After our burger, we venture around the corner to a new beer garden called Resident. This place was super cute. We got a couple of IPA's and enjoyed the reggae music. The beer garden featured a bar that was an old vintage airstream.  These two places are definitely worth your visit. It always a fun time downtown!
