Escape to Sunny LA

I spent this past weekend back in sunny LA. Its been four months since I moved from this crazy little city. It felt so good to be back in a familiar land. I tried to pack in the weekend with as many friends and favorite places as possible. It definitely wasn't long enough. The winters in LA are always Oh so perfect! I explored my favorite spots in downtown, found some new walls, got to visit my friends amazing apt in the Fashion District, and ventured out to beach and perused the streets of Venice. LA will always have a special place in my heart. It has a certain magic to it. I miss my friends and community out there so much. It was definitely the backdrop to an influential chapter in my life. 

Beautiful Union Station. I took a train up from Orange County after doing some work down there earlier in the week. It is definitely the best access point into the city.

I got off at Union and then wandered around downtown to buy some time. 

Then I grabbed a cocktail and caught the sunset from the Ace rooftop.

Woah! LA always has the pinkest sunsets.

Don't mind if I do. Tom's is one of my favorite places to grab coffee in Venice.
